I am an amateur photographer and I live in Cyprus. An island of seas, mountains, unique seasons and a long rich history. All these elements have touched my soul and the way I look at the world. Consequently they find their way, in my photography. I studied accounting in London and in Scotland. I discovered my love for photography at a very young age when I got my first KODAK camera at the age of eight, and I have not stopped taking photos since then. My first training came from my father, but years later when I was working for Reuters as an accountant, I used to spent time with the photo journalists of the Middle Eastern countries I was visiting. I looked at their photos and we used to discuss the details. Now I recognize that it was the best form of training I could have ever had.

When I joined my local photography club, I took a turn towards more artistic photography. I am particularly drawn to scenes of street life, people, their culture and more abstract scenes. My on going project takes place at the buffer zone of my home town Nicosia, where I document the division and what goes on around there.

My first solo exhibition “Visual sensitivities”, included photos from my homeland. My second one “The colours of India” emerged from my trip to India in 2011. The third one “Frames” was more abstract and artistic. This year during the first Nicosia Photo Fest I was invited to give a presentation from my latest trip to India. In 2017 Paphos was the European Capital of Culture. During that period my photo “Fun and the City” was chosen, together with other photos, to decorate the wall of Paphos square. At the same time, I also took part in the exhibition “Stone and Water” and my photo books from Visual sensitivities and Frames were chosen to be exhibited at the Paphos 2017 photo book exhibition. I have also taken part in many collaborative exhibitions in Cyprus. My work also includes food photography and my photos were published in the cookery book of the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society. One of my photos was chosen as the cover picture of the opening ceremony booklet and guide of the Leventio museum. After participating in International competitions, my pictures received awards and acceptances. In addition, many of my photos have been published in the local press, and have been used by several local institutions.

In 2011 I was awarded the AFIAP title and in 2013 the EFIAP, by the Federation International D’ Artist Photographie.
